Keyuntae Leonard has been the top AR (Accelerated Reader) reader in third grade for the past two 9-week periods. He loves to read books and take AR tests. Way to go Keyuntae! Will Keyuntae be the top reader for the third 9-weeks? We will have to wait and see.
Ms. Clayton’s third grade class recently studied geometric shapes. Students learned that there are shapes all around us. Students even went on a shape hunt in their homes. Some students created shape posters showing examples of various geometric shapes.
What a great time Ms. Clayton’s 3rd grade class recently had on their field trip to the McWane Science Center in Birmingham, Alabama.
